A scroll journey through particle portraits of five people living with neurological disease, ending in a crowd holding hands.
Every mind is worth fighting for.
Brainwaves works to prevent and control neurological disease — funding research, raising awareness, and standing beside sufferers and their families.
A charity for every mind.
Brainwaves promotes the prevention and control of neurological disease. We exist for the people living with conditions like multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, migraine and cerebral palsy — and for the families beside them.
Research
We fund research into the identification, diagnosis, management and treatment of neurological disease.
Awareness
We raise public awareness of symptoms and treatments, so the earliest signs are recognised sooner.
Support
We stand with sufferers and their families, easing the stress a diagnosis brings and making sure the help available is known.
Our impact
Every dollar we raise is directed at three outcomes: earlier, more certain diagnosis; treatments that preserve independence; and no family facing a diagnosis alone. We are a young charity, and we will publish what we fund and what it changes as our first projects are chosen.
Fund the science.
We support research into the identification, diagnosis, management and treatment of neurological diseases — turning connections in the lab into breakthroughs in life.
From earlier, more certain diagnosis to treatments that preserve independence, every project we back is chosen for the difference it can make to the people living with these conditions today.
No one faces it alone.
We stand with sufferers to ease the stress and suffering a diagnosis brings — and with their families, making sure the people closest to the disease know the management and treatment available.
Practical guidance, someone to talk to, and clear information when it matters most: that is what support means here.
Move it forward.
Our fundraising events raise awareness and power research. Join one, stage one, or give — every contribution strengthens the network of care.
